Our walk on Mt. Toby in search of its amazing variety of ferns on Saturday, August 18, 2018, was tremendously successful!
We were able to find and identify nineteen different ferns. We had great fun figuring out which were "clumpers" and which were "spreaders"; which had spores and which didn't have spores; what kind of habitat they enjoyed and what places they did not like. Thanks a million to Ted Watt, our mighty leader.
