Sunday, June 4, 2023, Route 112, Plainfield, MA 9:00-11:00am

Join ecologists and naturalists Patricia Serrentino and Alex Haro for a paddle around Plainfield Pond in search of the plants, birds, fish, and other animals that reside in and around the pond. We’ll compare the plant communities in this Franklin County hill town with those of the lower Connecticut River valley. Binoculars and polarized sunglasses will be helpful but not required; life jackets are required; insect repellent is strongly suggested!

Please bring your own canoe or kayak. Due to very limited parking (6-car max), we also ask that we carpool and consolidate boats*. Registration will be first come first serve basis and will close once we know we have six cars.
