Greenfield Litter Picking

Make every day Earth Day. Blue bags always available for litter pick up.

Going for a walk?  Heading out with the dog, the family, with friends or by yourself?  Looking for a way to make a little difference right in your own neighborhood?

Greenfield DPW has provided Greening Greenfield with blue litter bags you may use to clean up this city any time the mood strikes.

  • Pick up bags during daylight hours any time of year (except winter) from the front porch of 34 Pierce Street, Greenfield. (It’s winter now.  I know that because there is snow on the ground / and/or it’s very cold/ and/or because there are no blue bags on the porch right now.  They will come back in spring.)
  • Fill the bag with litter from around Greenfield (no household trash; no out of town litter; no large items)
  • Put the bag out at the curb for collection on that neighborhood’s trash day.
  • That’s it!  No sticker. No charge. Less unsightly trash.

Please wear gloves, supervise small children, and respect private property.

Greenfield Trash Pick up club
