Participants at the Greenfield Energy forum were encouraged to cut heating costs and get off fossil fuels.  They learned about new programs and more incentives for all income levels:

  • Mass Save

  • MA’s new Community Climate Bank

  • Rebates and Incentives through the Inflation Reduction Act

  • Rebates for Electric Vehicles

Finding money to upgrade your home and get off of fossil fuels is very complex!  The goal of the workshop was to explain new programs, such as the Energy Saver Home Loan through the Massachusetts Climate Bank, and make it easy to access new programs.

Attendees met with vendors to learn more and sign up with Community Action, Mass Save Home Performance Contractors, and chatted with companies that offer electric heat pumps, and solar installers.

This Energy Fair was organized by Greening Greenfield and co-sponsored by the Franklin County Council of Governments and the Sustainable Greenfield Implementation Committee.
