Sharing Your Yard with birds
This event w the second in a series of Winter 2025 talks on Supporting Birds in Our Community.
Pat Serrentino focused on the various actions that residents / homeowners can take to not only attract birds to their backyards, but keep them safe and healthy too. These actions can range from the simple to more time-consuming; from providing water, bird houses, preventing birds from striking windows, and decreasing the use of pesticides. The talk emphasized that small actions can result in big outcomes!
Patricia Serrentino has a B.S. and M.Sc. in Biology and has studied wildlife and their habitats in New England for over 40 years.
