Lots of activity with Connecticut Hydro Facility relicensing!

This past month Connecticut River Conservancy, Franklin Regional Council of Governments and others filed appeals with MassDEP and the FERC protesting the final Water Quality Certificate issued by MassDEP on April 22, 2025.  Also, the FERC has issued the draft Environmental Impact Statement for Northfield Mountain Pumped Storage Facility and Turners Falls Dam.  The public has an opportunity to comment on this draft EIS through July 29th.
